Chisholm Virtual Day will be Friday, September 18th. If your student(s) need a device or a hotspot please contact your student's office prior to Thursday. The devices and hotspots will be checked out on Thursday. Your students will follow a virtual school day similar to their schedule during a regular school day.
Parents may pick up breakfast and lunch for their enrolled Chisholm students on Friday, September 18, 2020, between 11:00-11:30 a.m. The deadline for parents to call and order their students' meals is 12:00 p.m., Thursday, September 17. Parents can call Ext. 214 for the Elementary, Ext. 350 for the Middle School, and Ext. 421 for the High School to order their students' meals. Parents will need to give the name of each student requesting a meal.
Garfield County's COVID numbers had a small drop to 45.16. We will continue with our Orange protocols.
Garfield county COVID risk numbers today are 49.14. This will keep us in the Orange level and all safety precautions that are in place currently will remain.

Football Game tickets will be available for purchase by the community Friday morning. You can purchase them online at http://longhorns.ludus.com or at the office until 1:30. If you have a pass you do not need a ticket. Print your tickets or bring them digitally and they will be scanned at the gate.
Great news for Chisholm students. The USDA and the SDE have granted Chisholm Public Schools with a waiver that will allow all students enrolled in Chisholm Public Schools to receive a free breakfast and lunch. The waiver will last as long as the USDA has the funding or until the end of the first semester. The free meals will be retroactive to September 1st, however you will still be responsible for any charges made in August. Ala Carte items will still be charged to your student’s accounts. For virtual students please contact your site office for details.
Freedom Football Game- Change of plans . We are partnering with Kingfisher to display our flags and wear our t-shirts to that game. Kingfisher is participating as well.

Today's COVID-19 Numbers are out. Garfield County is at 35.8. This number will send Chisholm Public Schools into its Orange Level. In Orange the following Mandates will be in place: Masks are required for all staff and students in grades 4-12. Masks are required for students in PreK-3rd grade in hallways, common areas, and during times of school transportation. Attendance at extracurricular activities will be limited and masks will be required by all visitors at indoor activities. The High School Football game on the schedule for Friday, August 28 is being moved to September 18 and will be a home game vs. Perkins-Tryon.
Garfield County is currently at 30.65 cases per 100,000. In the Chisholm Re-Entry Plan we will remain in Yellow. We will continue the same protocols as this past week. Have a save weekend.

Just remember that this situation is very fluid and could change. This plan was created with the data and information that we have currently. Our number one goal in the creation of this plan was the safety of our students and our staff.
