CHS SOFTBALL SCORES Won vs Pioneer 16-3 Lost vs OBA 10-2 Won vs Garber 14-13 Today at Hennessey Tournament, we beat Luther 12-3 and lost to Wellston 14-4. Great job girls!

CHS TRACK TEAM @ Cashion meet today. First meet of the season and our kids did exceptional! The girls’ sprint relay team ran close to their state time last year. Girls won the 4x2 and 4 x 4 and took 2nd in the 2 mile relay. Our longhorns swept the pole vault and had both throwers and the disc PRs by about 10 feet each. Our coaches are waiting for final results to be posted, but our girls easily won the track meet with our boys potentially coming in 2nd. Congratulations to all of our track athletes on a great day at the track!

CHS students and Ms. Stuckey received a grant from the Oklahoma Department of Education for flexible seating for her English/Creative Writing classroom. Our students love it!

CHS students and Coach Shoate received a grant from the Chisholm Foundation for multimedia equipment for our new Digital Media and Advertising class next year. Our students are excited about the new drone!

NHS members are hard at work folding t-shirts for the Oklahoma Blood Institute. As part of their community service hours for National Honor Society, members helped fold eight boxes of t-shirts. What a great way to help our community!

The HS Baseball game at Hennessey has been changed to 3:30pm today.

The FFA had their annual Labor and Trophy Auction on February 15th. Bidders and parents enjoyed a shrimp boil before the Auction. Proceeds from the Auction go to fund FFA projects.

Tonight is Senior night for Basketball. Recognition will be in between Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys games. Game times are JV Boys 5:00, Varsity Girls 6:00, and Varsity Boys 7:30.

BASKETBALL PLAYOFF TICKETS: Tickets for the basketball playoff series will be sold online and can be purchased on the OSSAA.com homepage. Schedule for ticket sales will begin at noon: Districts - Feb 13 Regionals-Feb 20 Area - Feb 27 State - Mar 6 Ticket prices are $10 for all District, Regional and Area tournaments. Ticket prices are $13 for all State Tournaments.

Bus 14 route will be run after school today.

Football All-District 2A-1 team announced and Chisholm High School had two players receive honors. Senior, Web Bullard was awarded 1st team wide receiver and senior, Caleb Griffith was awarded the Perseverance award. Congratulations to these young men!
