This message is just for our 5th grade families, but I'm sending it to every family to keep everyone informed and to avoid any confusion. I was just notified that we have a positive COVID case that affects ALL of 5th grade and ONLY 5th grade. Because every student came in direct contact with this person, ALL of 5th grade will NOT be able to return to school tomorrow. I just got off of the phone with the Health Department, and they will contact each 5th grade family to place them under quarantine as we do not have that authority. We notify the HD to let them know who came into direct contact with the person who tested positive, and they make the call to quarantine. 5th grade parents can come to the CES OFFICE anytime between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to pick up a Chromebook IF your child does not have a device at home. Breakfast and lunch are available for pick up at 8:00 a.m. for breakfast and at 12:30 for lunch. Go to the NORTH side of the building on the WEST end and ring the door bell when you come to pick up your child's food. Please call 237-5645 ext. 214 by 9:00 a.m . to let them know if you are picking up lunch. No need to call about breakfast. If you normally pay for your child's lunches, the cost will remain the same over the next 2 weeks. The 5th grade teachers will be in contact with you tomorrow to begin distance learning. Our custodians are here at the school right now cleaning and disinfecting everything, so school WILL BE OPEN for ALL PreK-4th grade students. If you have questions or concerns, please email me. ds

Parents…please do not go around other cars in the drop off line. Many students have to exit from the left side of the car. This is a safety issue, so we must insist that you do not pass other cars in the car line. Thank you!! ds

CLASS ROSTERS HAVE BEEN POSTED!!
Chisholm families. . . .we decided to post our class rosters several weeks early this year to give parents and teachers additional time to "connect and prepare" for the upcoming school year. The rosters are posted on the front windows of the school (EAST side of the building). If you do not see your child's name on a list, then check below for his/her name. . .they must be missing some documentation that we need. We listed the items that were missing from the cumulative folders beside your child's name. You can put copies of these items in an envelope and place it in the Drop Box in the front foyer. Those doors are unlocked between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. We will update the rosters frequently over the next couple of weeks. If you have questions, call 237-5645 ext. 200 and leave a message. Hope you enjoy the rest of your summer break! ds
NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT: Students new to the district can begin the enrollment process by coming to the elementary school to pick up an enrollment packet. You can also drop your completed enrollment paperwork in the same location!
Come to the EAST doors. If you have any questions, feel free to call me at 580-237-5645 ext. 201
